Product Features
Hemscott Price Alerts enables you to keep up to date with the share price movements that affect you, providing you with timely alerts which you can customise to your own requirements. And because Hemscott Price Alerts does the work for you, you don't need to keep checking prices every few minutes to know what's going on. With Hemscott price alerts you can:
- Set alerts on all types of price information, including bid, ask and last trade price.
- Specify your own alert trigger, whether it's a percentage change from the current price, or a particular value.
SMS Alerts
Users of any mobile phone can receive the latest share price information by sending an SMS text message to us. There is no need to register or subscribe, and the service is easy to use 24 hours a day.
You will receive (normally within ten seconds) your chosen stock's latest current mid price, bid and offer price as well as the day's highs, lows and opening price.
How to use the service
- Go to the function on your mobile phone, which enables you to write text messages.
- Type in hem space pf space EPIC (either upper or lower case). The EPIC is a unique 3 letter ticker code of the company you want to receive information for. For example: hem pf vod
- Send your message to: 81025
- Wait for the latest share price (typically 10 seconds, but speed will depend on your network).
Charges are 25p per message, plus your normal network charges. Prices are quoted inclusive of VAT.
The charge will be debited direct to your mobile phone bill.
