About Us

Since 1976 Electra has invested over Ł3 billion in private equity.

Electra's objectives are to provide a targeted and cost effective means of investment in private equity for a wide range of investors with the aim of delivering a superior rate of return.

The investment strategy is to seek exposure to private equity through:

direct investments in leveraged equity positions in buyouts and similar transactions
other types of investments including property and listed opportunities, where these can be approached from a private equity perspective.

Investments may also be made in primary and secondary positions in funds where these meet appropriate return criteria and provide co-investment or other investment opportunities.
