Our objective is to provide shareholders with long-term growth in capital and income through investment in a diversified, global portfolio of equities. The principal criteria include the prospects for growth; the strength of the business franchise; the level of cash generation and the commitment of management. We aim to find global investment themes, and use a compare and contrast methodology to find the best way to capitalise on them.
In 2004, management of Electric & General Investment Trust plc was transferred from Henderson Global Investors Limited to Taube Hodson Stonex Partners LLP.
