A guide to changes and features on the Hemscott.com website

We are currently redesigning the Hemscott Premium services. Over the course of the next couple of months you will see changes to the Hemscott.com menu layout which will start to incorporate the Premium features. These will be distinguished by a Premium "P" box logo and each page will carry a demonstration of what information is available to you when signing up to Hemscott Premium.

Fund Research via Morningstar.co.uk
On January 9, Morningstar, a leading provider of independent investment information, completed its acquisition of the Hemscott data, media, and investor relations businesses from Ipreo Holdings. Read more about the acquisition on the Morningstar corporate Web site.
For now, it's business as usual for both Hemscott.com and Morningstar.co.uk, but we encourage our members to begin exploring the Morningstar Web site. Morningstar.co.uk provides tools and information to assist you in making informed fund investment choices. You can find information on more than 15,000 Open-end funds, 16,000 Life & Pensions funds, 4,000 ISA funds, 400 ETFs and 500 Investment Trusts. This is supported by the powerful Portfolio Tool and the free comprehensive and objective fund research and analysis.

Products, Brands & Subsidiaries
This is a new page on Hemscott.com it lists all products, brands and subsidiaries of a selected company. Information is summarised within the company's Company Summary page and can be accessed via the link provided or by selecting Products & Brands on the left hand menu. If you are unfamiliar with a company's name but know the brand, select this page to confirm your suspicions.
Geographical & Activity Analysis
This is a new page on Hemscott.com that gives a breakdown of how a company's Turnover and Pre-tax figures are split Geographically and through their activities. Data is collated from Interim/Preliminary announcements and audited Annual Report & Accounts. Information is uploaded at the end of every day. To access this data select Activity Analysis from the left menu of a selected company.
