We have different leaders depending on which method we use to calculate supremacy but there is no denying the sterling performance of FD, which has added no fewer than eight clients overall in the past three months to take its tally to its highest level yet despite the stock market as a whole shrinking over the last few years.
FD remains in second place and is once again the only other financial PR with more than 100 clients while third placed Brunswick, leader of the profits table, has scored a single client gain.
Totals are generally lower this time from last quarter. Only FD and Brunswick among May's top 20 have made headway while 15 tallies are down. Holding their own are Lansons, Conduit PR and Threadneedle Communications while Hudson Sandler returns after missing out last time.
Finsbury remains clear in the market cap table ahead of Brunswick and Maitland and indeed May's top 5 remain resolutely in place here.
