The Company announces that, on 8 October 2009, 300,000 new Ordinary shares of 25 pence each were issued for cash at a price of 764.0 pence per share under its Ordinary share block listing facility.

The Ordinary issued share capital is now 94,059,624 Ordinary shares (and 1,077,276 B Ordinary shares).
